Now, you don’t have the option of engaging a professional to do the job. Hmmm. OK, what do you do?

Your friend has been telling you for weekss about the DIY stores for that type of project, which provide, free of charge, brochures which detail the steps involved in restoring those types of bathtubs. The one you have does have a few scratches and some water stains, but  you’re convinced you can do it. You take a trip to the local DIY store such as Lowes, Home Depot or your local hardware store. Lo and behold, you find racks of brochures which describe every step of the restoration needed to turn that antique into a valuable and beautiful addition to your bathroom. A little sandpaper, a few techniques, well applied, and proper refinishing and you’ve got a lovely and valuable piece in the bathroom the neighbors will love.
